What you will need

Important: Agentbox API access is not enabled by default. You may need to contact Agentbox support before you can proceed with these steps. Allow up to 1–2 business days for them to activate it.

Step-by-step instructions

1

Confirm API access is active on your account

Before logging in to find your credentials, verify that Agentbox has enabled API access for your account. If you're unsure, contact Agentbox support and ask them to activate third-party API access. Once confirmed, proceed to the next step.

2

Log into Agentbox and open Settings

Sign in to your Agentbox account. Navigate to Settings in the main menu. You need admin-level access — standard agent accounts may not be able to access the API section.

3

Navigate to Settings → API

Inside Settings, find and click the API section. This is where your API credentials are stored. If you don't see this section, API access may not yet be enabled — contact Agentbox support to activate it.

4

Copy your API Key and Agency ID

On the API page, locate and copy your API Key and your Agency ID. Both values are required for the GetListingFlow integration. The Agency ID is a numeric identifier for your specific office or agency.

5

Enter both values in the GetListingFlow registration form

Return to the registration form, select Agentbox as your CRM, and enter your API Key into the API Key field and your Agency ID into the Agency ID field. Both are required for the connection to work correctly.

Troubleshooting

Error: API not activated

API access hasn't been enabled by Agentbox yet

If you don't see the API section in Settings, or if connections are being rejected, the most likely cause is that Agentbox hasn't enabled API access for your account. Contact Agentbox support directly and ask them to activate third-party API access. Allow 1–2 business days for this to be processed.

Error: Wrong Agency ID

Your office is part of a franchise with multiple Agency IDs

Franchise networks operating across multiple Agentbox accounts will have a separate Agency ID for each office. Make sure you are using the Agency ID that corresponds to the specific office you want GetListingFlow to connect to. If unsure, check with your Agentbox account manager.

Error: Rate limiting or rejected requests

Your Agentbox plan has API rate limits

Some Agentbox accounts — particularly those on older or entry-level plans — may have API rate limits that restrict how many requests can be made per hour. Contact Agentbox support to confirm your account's API limits and discuss whether an upgrade is needed for continuous integration.

Cannot find Settings → API

Your user role doesn't have admin access

The API section in Agentbox Settings is only accessible to admin-level users. Ask your principal or office manager to access the API credentials for you, or to grant your account admin permissions so you can retrieve them yourself.
